Let Me Introduce Myself

Scott Jensen

Well I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I am a multi-facetted designer and art director. Art has always been my bread and butter. I completed my BFA in visual communications in 2009 and have been working as a designer ever since. I've written a couple books, been a part of a few different startups at the ground floor, and worked across a wide range of design media. And when I'm not working on design? I'm probably buried in a pile of Legos looking for a 2x6 dark gray block.

I work full-time at SitePen, a small talented group that specializes in web development and consultation, especially within the enterprise space. They are a completely distributed team, which means I get to enjoy the freedom of working from home every day. My role involves wearing plenty of hats, but my main priority is UX/UI design for our clients and many of our own systems.

My Skillset

While much of my work has centered around user interface and user experience design, I strongly believe in being a full-stack designer. That means maintaining a wide range of abilities that allow me to follow a project through every stage of production. This includes designing for any media, strong front-end development skills, and even writing copy and messaging.
